A modular system
for your
series production

For our customers with series production, we offer a modular system that allows electrochemical weld seam cleaning to be automated at the quality level we are known for. The automation concept can be implemented in stand-alone robot cells or integrated into existing production lines. It essentially consists of four coordinated components.
AutoBrush: The cleaning head
The AutoBrush is mounted directly on an industrial robot or cobot and supplied with electrolyte fully automatically by means of AutoFeed. An integrated linear drive automatically compensates for wear on the carbon fibres, eliminating the need for constant recalibration of the robot path. After the cleaning process, the component can be rinsed and dried using integrated water and compressed air nozzles.
AutoBrush logic module: The control centre
The logic module controls the linear unit of the AutoBrush and connects it to the robot controller. Only five potential-free I/Os are required for integration. This allows the system to be integrated into existing robot cells with minimal effort. In addition, the module enables the control of water and compressed air functions as well as the monitoring of brush wear.
SuperCleanox Hybrid RS: The energy source
The built-in robot interface handles communication between the cleaning device and the robot control system, making the powerful SuperCleanox Hybrid RS cleaning device the energy source for your robot cell. The interface allows precise control of voltage, current limitation, pulse current, switching between direct and alternating current, and other functions.
MagicBox: The elektrolyte supply
The MagicBox houses the patented technology for Reuter‘s AutoFeed system. This delivers the precisely calculated amount of electrolyte fluid for your cleaning task directly to the brush tip.
The AutoBrush system turns the downstream manual step of weld seam cleaning into a reproducible, controllable process. This enables consistent quality for large quantities with significantly reduced personnel costs.
